The company’s mission is to work closely with major device manufacturers in order to develop effective, safe and affordable cleaning solutions. KICTeam has experience working with but not limited to bill acceptors, check scanners, currency counters, voting machines, ATM’s, hotel door locks, check in and out kiosks, thermal printers, bar code printers, ID printers, gas pumps, vending machines and turn styles/access gates, most commonly found in buses and subways.
As an OEM, there are many options as to how you work with KICTeam.
Standard Cleaning Card Product
As an OEM, you can choose from a vast array of products which KICTeam can custom label. To help you to determine your preventive maintenance needs our company will send samples for your evaluation in determining your approved product for cleaning, or you may send your device to our R&D Department and they will select the correct cleaning card based on your overall cleaning objectives for your equipment. Once a product has been selected, you will work together with KICTeam to design the artwork for the pouch and packaging. Within weeks you will have your own private-labeled cleaning product.

Custom Designed Cleaning Cards
Every device is different and every company has unique cleaning and maintenance requirements. What KICTeam does best is to specifically develop a cleaning card that meets its customer’s needs. By KICTeam using its extensive technology ranging from different Waffletechnology features, custom material and custom cleaning agents, KICTeam engineers work directly with your company’s R&D Department to develop a custom and proprietary cleaning product. Custom Cleaning Kits
On occasion, a customer may need a variety of cleaning cards. KICTeam can design and assemble a unique custom kit packaged according to your needs. The cleaning kit can include any number of different cleaning products and can be designed and labeled with OEM information. KICTeam also offers optional foam cutouts to enhance the professional look of the cleaning kit.
Cleaning Card Pricing
Through implementing a streamlined process in the development phase of custom cleaning cards, KICTeam is able to make cards extremely affordable. After one use, cleaning cards typically pay for themselves because of the problems they solve: irritated customers, labor cost, travel expenses, loss in revenue are far greater in cost than the cleaning card itself. Overall consensus from our OEM Partners already using cleaning cards is that not using cleaning cards results in higher, over all maintenance costs.
Waffletechnology
Waffletechnology™ (patent pending) cleaning cards dramatically outperform normal flat cleaning cards. Even experts who were once skeptical of the benefits of using cleaning cards have been converted into believers. The concept is as simple as it is ingenious. Most importantly, performing your own simple test easily recognizes the benefits.
The concept behind Waffletechnology is to achieve complete access to critical and recessed components within the equipment. Because most critical components such as optical lenses and magnetic heads are rounded, and placement for these sensors are usually recessed, access cannot be achieved through the use of flat cleaning cards. The solution is very simple: design a card that is not flat.
For the purpose of custom cards, KICTeam can choose from a vast array of different Waffletechnology features and arrange them in a unique pattern on your cleaning card. This pattern would be exclusive to your company.
Cleaning Mode
In order to maximize cleaning effectiveness, KICTeam is able to incorporate special coding which will trigger “cleaning mode” software inside a device (Software is developed by OEM and technical information provided to KICTeam to incorporate this special proprietary coding to commence the cleaning mode). This cleaning mode is used to enhance cleaning effectiveness as well as ensure that cleaning is performed in predetermined intervals.
Cleaning Agents
While Waffletechnology can reach recessed areas of your device, it would not be effective without the proper cleaning agent. While Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) is still widely used, KICTeam offers a number of new, advanced products that are IPA free and will not degrade belts and rollers. The R&D department will make the right recommendation based on your machinery.
